      Parts Manager Job Description

 

 

Amigo Power Equipment, a Kubota Tractor and Power Equipment and Polaris ATV and UTV Dealer, has an excellent career opportunity for a Parts Manager at Edinburg, Texas.  

 

Responsibilities include managing inventory, sales and distribution of parts.  Also will be responsible for meeting and exceeding parts sales and gross profit margin goals and objectives. 

 

This position will:

 

  •  Maintain a good working relationship with external and internal customers
  • Handle external and internal customer issues as required to insure loyalty and repeat business
  • Develop, implement, and manage the part's department business plan
  • Manage operating budgets to attain or exceed sales targets
  • Assist in developing marketing strategy to increase sales
  • Supervise the work of multiple Parts Counter Advisors
  • Train subordinates in sales techniques such as suggestive selling and closing skills
  • Insure an adequate inventory to satisfy internal and external customer needs and expectations
  • Monitor and manage reporting programs for accurancy and timeliness of information.  Monitor all updates on software for parts on computer.
  • Manage the warehousing and shipment of parts and accessories.
  • Report status of achievement of goals and objectives to management on a regular basis.
  • Serve and cashier as needed
  • Attend training and parts meetings as required to stay current on products and promotions

 

Requirements: 

Bilingual with High School Diploma and College Degree preferred.  Previous experience in managing a Power Equipment, Heavy Equipment, or Auto Parts department preferred.  Computer skills and excellent customer service/communication skills required.
